Job Description:

Night Shift Forklift Driver

Location: Livingston

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (inclusive of attendance bonus). Should attendance requirements not be fulfilled, the rate will reduce to £14.29 per hour.

Shift: 5:15pm - 5:15am | 3 Shifts On / 3 Shifts Off

We're looking for Night Shift Forklift Drivers to join the team at our Livingston site. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy operation where you'll play an important role in supporting the movement and organisation of pallets across the site.

We're looking for people with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Previous forklift experience isn't essential, but you must hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.

Duties will include:

• Removing empty pallets from the distribution centre
• Sorting and batching pallets by colour and type
• Transporting pallets safely to the designated yard area
• Storing pallets accurately within the designated yard locations
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently at all times
• Carrying out daily pre-use forklift checks and reporting any defects
• Adhering to all site Health & Safety policies, procedures and safe working practices
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the operation
• Completing all tasks accurately while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency

What we're looking for:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential)
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining excellent attendance
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work a 5:15pm - 5:15am, 3 Shifts On / 3 Shifts Off shift pattern
