We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a reliable and proactive Premises Assistant to work as part of a premises team across a group of 5-6 schools in Fulham, West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping schools safe, secure and well maintained, and who enjoys supporting the smooth running of busy educational settings into the evening.
If you have a background in premises, facilities or maintenance, or strong practical skills from a similar environment, this is a great chance to join a supportive team and make a real contribution to several school communities.

Overtime is available to cover evening and weekend lettings. You will move between sites as required, so you will need to be comfortable adapting quickly to each school's layout and routines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular inspections of indoor and outdoor areas and support the programme of site testing and inspections to maintain statutory compliance
- Manage the security of school sites, including locking and unlocking and arrangements for out-of-hours access

- Receive deliveries and move supplies as required
- Help manage each school's response to adverse weather such as snow and ice
- Cover reception duties after school lettings
- Travel between sites throughout the working week as required
- Contribute to school events where possible and work flexibly to meet the schools' needs
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and school policies at all times
About You:
- Awareness of, and commitment to, the safeguarding and protection of children
- Relevant work experience in a premises, facilities, maintenance or similar role
- An H&S qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH), or a willingness to work towards one within an agreed time frame
- Excellent maintenance and DIY skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders
