The Role
We’re looking for a qualified Gas Safe engineer who is motivated to grow their career with a dynamic and respected company. You’ll work on a variety of gas-fired equipment.
• Job Title: Gas Burner Control Engineer
• Location: Based from home, our Office/workshop is based in Hixon, Stafford, with travel across the UK and Ireland
• Job Type: Permanent
Hours:
• 40 hours over four days (Monday–Saturday)
• Two Saturdays per 4 week rota
• On-call one weekend in six
Key Responsibilities
• Service and maintain gas-fired burners of all manufacturers and equipment at customer sites
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and implement effective solutions
• Carry out repairs and remedial works
• Maintain accurate documentation and site reports
• Build strong professional relationships with customers
• Collaborate with colleagues and demonstrate flexibility
• Travel and work away as required
Essential Criteria
• Gas Safe Registration
• Commercial Gas COCN1 qualification
• Valid UK driving license Desirable Criteria
• Experience in industrial gas/combustion engineering
• Electrical qualifications (e.g., 17th Edition)
