Gas Technician (Field-Based)

📍 Location: Cambridge (Field-Based – UK Wide Travel)

📅 Working Pattern: Monday–Friday (Travel Required)

About the Role

GPW Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Gas Technician on behalf of an established and growing organisation that has recently expanded into the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out gas-related installation, maintenance, and service work
• Work on a range of projects across the UK
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with regulations
• Liaise with site teams and clients as required
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

Working Pattern

• Field-based role with travel across the UK
• Working away Monday to Friday
• Typically 2–3 weeks working away per month

Requirements

• Experience in a Gas Technician or similar role
• Relevant gas qualifications/certifications
• Experience with SF6 
• Worked in a 132KV environment previously
• Comfortable with regular travel and working away
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
