Senior Site Engineer

💰 £32,000 – £36,000 + Van + Excellent Site Package

A well-established ground investigation contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Site Engineer to support ongoing projects across the North East region.

This is a hands-on, fully site-based role suited to someone from a contracting ground investigation background who enjoys managing day-to-day site operations and being actively involved in fieldwork. There are no office-based reporting responsibilities attached to this position.

The Role

• Supervising ground investigation and drilling activities
• Managing subcontractors and site operations
• Logging soil and rock samples
• Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site
• Working across infrastructure, commercial, and development schemes
• Travelling to projects throughout the region with occasional working away

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience within a site investigation contractor environment
• Strong understanding of ground investigation works
• Experience supervising field operations
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• Positive and flexible approach to site work

Package

• Salary between £32,000 – £36,000
