German Speaking Customer Service Coordinator (Part-Time or Full Time, Temp to Perm)

Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £27,000 DOE
Hours: Full or Part Time (30 - 37.5 hours) Monday to Friday (8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent - You will need to be available for asap start date

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a leading Sheffield-based business as they look to recruit a Customer Service Coordinator on a part-time or full time, temp-to-perm basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual who enjoys delivering outstanding service and building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Additional language skills would be highly beneficial, although not essential.

Working as part of a supportive and busy team, you will play a key role in ensuring customer enquiries, orders, and account management activities are handled efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Work towards and achieve departmental KPIs.
• Process customer orders accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Provide stock availability information and product advice.
• Proactively manage outstanding orders, updating customers regularly and processing cancellations where necessary.
• Handle faulty garment complaints, raising Return Authorisations or rejecting claims in line with company policy.
• Coordinate credit requests for faulty goods and communicate outcomes to customers.
• Maintain shortage reports and communicate shortages or late deliveries.
• Support customer communications through email and written correspondence.
• Provide general administration support to Sales Representatives.
• Liaise with Credit Control regarding customer account and financial queries.
• Work closely with Warehouse teams to resolve despatch and delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate order records and documentation.
• Open and close customer accounts and manage customer complaints effectively.
• Track deliveries, provide Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation, and liaise with courier services including UPS.
• Order POS materials and marketing brochures.
• Maintain and update customer pricelists.
• Process commercial requests and sample orders.
• Obtain and record customer product feedback.
• Manage the allocation of incoming goods.
• Assist with e-commerce customer enquiries.

Additional Duties

• Provide support and information to wider Sales and Marketing teams as required.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Continuously develop computer literacy and communication skills.
• Follow all company health and safety requirements.
• Provide reception cover on a rota basis.
• Attend the company's in-house "Fit School" to develop product knowledge.
• Receive and redirect incoming calls, voicemails, and email enquiries appropriately.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• German language skills essential 
• Previous experience in a customer service, customer support, sales administration, or order processing role.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working with ERP or order management systems would be advantageous.
• Additional language skills would be highly desirable.
