Job Description:

Goods In / Goods Out / Despatch Operative

Location: Keighley
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday – Day Shift & Early Shift Available

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Keighley, is looking to recruit reliable and motivated Goods In / Goods Out Despatch Operatives to join their busy warehouse and logistics team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse or manufacturing experience who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in working accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries against delivery notes.
• Booking goods into stock accurately.
• Preparing goods for despatch and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
• Moving raw materials, components and finished goods between warehouse locations and production departments throughout the factory.
• Supplying production areas with materials as required to support manufacturing operations.
• Assisting with stock control and stock movements.
• Keeping warehouse and goods in/out areas clean, organised and safe.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a Goods In, Goods Out, Despatch, Stores or Warehouse Operative role.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment would be advantageous.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, hardworking and flexible.

Day Shift:  08.30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am – 3pm Friday = 38 hours per week 

 OR

Early Shift:  5.30am – 2pm Monday to Thursday, 5.30am – 11.30am Fri = 38 hours per week
