We are currently looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join a close-knit civil engineering consultancy in Maidstone, Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Civil Engineering graduate who is keen to start their career, gain practical experience and develop into a well-rounded civil engineer within a supportive consultancy environment.

The business specialises in drainage, flood risk, highways, roads and wider development infrastructure, giving you the opportunity to gain exposure across several areas of civil engineering rather than being limited to one discipline.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers on a varied portfolio of development and infrastructure projects, gaining exposure to projects from early planning through to detailed design.

• Assist with drainage, highways, roads and infrastructure design across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, drawings, drainage strategies and flood risk information.
• Gain experience working on projects for a range of clients, including some particularly interesting work associated with Premier League football clubs.
• Support engineers throughout the project lifecycle while developing your understanding of design standards, planning requirements and construction.
• Work closely with the wider team and gradually take on greater technical responsibility as your experience develops.

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• A genuine interest in pursuing a career within civil engineering and development infrastructure.
• Good technical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to your work.
• Previous consultancy experience is beneficial but not essential - this role is particularly suited to a graduate who is eager to learn and build their career.
