Graduate IT & Network Engineer
Location: Wrexham
Salary: £28,000–£34,000

We are recruiting for our client, a manufacturing company in Wrexham, who is looking for a recent graduate with a relevant IT or networking degree. This is a dream job for the right candidate and a chance to join a large company,  the type of company that most Grads dream of joining whilst doing their degrees.

This is an on-site role supporting IT infrastructure, networks, Microsoft 365 and day-to-day systems in a live manufacturing environment. Training is available to build on the knowledge gained from your degree.
THE ROLE

• Support IT infrastructure, servers, backups and the site network
• Maintain Windows systems and provide Microsoft 365 support
• Work with switches, firewalls, print servers, laptops and desktops
• Help with installs, upgrades and user support on site and remotely
• Work with international teams via Microsoft Teams
• Support reporting, databases and IT security good practice

YOU

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, Cyber Security or a closely related subject
• Knowledge and hands on experience of networking or systems from your course, placement or projects is an absolute must
• Strong communication skills and a clear interest in infrastructure and cyber security
• Right to work in the UK

Useful: Microsoft 365, Windows, Cisco Meraki, CLI/SSH, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, CCNA or Network+, and a full UK driving licence.
This is not an open graduate scheme. Applicants without a relevant degree will not be considered.

Package:
£28,000–£34,000, permanent.
