Graduate Structural Engineer (Office / Onsite)

Leeds

£30,000–£35,000 (DOE)

Full-time, Permanent

Requirement: Full UK driving licence (site travel)

A Leeds-based engineering consultancy is looking for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join their growing team. This role suits either a recent graduate or someone with early post‑graduate experience who wants hands-on exposure across commercial, residential, retail and industrial projects.

You’ll work directly with experienced engineers and technical leads, gaining structured development, real project responsibility and a clear pathway towards professional accreditation.

YOUR NEW ROLE

• Carry out structural analysis and prepare calculations across a range of projects

• Use industry-standard design and analysis software

• Produce technical reports, presentations and supporting documentation

• Attend design and site meetings, including occasional overnight stays

• Undertake site inspections and support project delivery

• Communicate clearly with colleagues, clients, contractors and wider design teams

• Work to agreed budgets, timelines and project requirements

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering

• Minimum of 2 years post‑graduate experience (not essential for strong graduates)

• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach

• Full UK driving licence
