Graduate Teaching Assistant - Romford

Are you a recent graduate looking to start a career in education and make a genuine impact in a classroom every day? As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key part in helping students access the curriculum and build confidence in their learning. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Supporting classroom teachers during lessons across different subjects
• Working with small groups of students to reinforce learning and boost progress
• Providing targeted 1:1 support for pupils who need additional help, including those with SEN or EAL needs
• Helping to prepare learning materials and classroom resources
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping maintain a calm, structured learning environment
• Building supportive relationships with students to help improve engagement and confidence
• Contributing to wider school life, including enrichment activities, clubs, or intervention sessions
