Graduation & Events Manager

3 Month Contract

Wrexham

£17.50- £18 per hour

Monday - Friday (flexibility required to support events, including occasional weekends)

We are looking for a Graduation & Events Manager to join a busy Marketing & Communications team. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple events effectively.

The Graduation & Events Manager Role -

• Managing the delivery of large-scale events, including graduation ceremonies and key corporate events
• Planning schedules, coordinating logistics, and overseeing event communications and ticketing
• Managing event staff, suppliers, and external partners
• Supporting event promotion with marketing teams
• Ensuring high standards of delivery, customer experience, and compliance
• Monitoring event success and driving improvements

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role and will have the following skills:

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong project management and multitasking ability
• High attention to detail
• Confident working independently and as part of a team
• Calm under pressure with good problem-solving skills
• Experience in event management (essential)
• Experience managing people or suppliers (desirable)
