Job Description:

Grounds Maintenance Operative required for a housing association working in Crewe and Nantwich for an initial 6 month period.

Role

Provide general gardening and grounds‑maintenance services across estates, ensuring high standards, safe working practices, and good customer interaction.

Key Duties

• • Grounds maintenance across gardens and communal areas
  • Customer interaction and reporting issues (repairs, fly‑tipping, graffiti, safeguarding)
  • Safe equipment use including PPE, COSHH and incident reporting
  • Vehicle checks and keeping vehicles clean and compliant
  • Accurate recording of work and inspections

Essential Experience

• • Grounds‑maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of lawn, shrub and plant care
  • Ability to work physically and safely
  • Good customer‑service skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Understanding of COSHH, PPE and Health & Safety
  • Full driving licence

Rate is paye or umbrella, 35 hrs per week.
