£14 per hour
Full-time, seasonal role

Shift Pattern
Monday to Thursday 7am to 4.30pm
Friday 7am to 3.30pm

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a busy and growing grounds maintenance company covering Bromley and surrounding areas across SE London.

This is a mobile role working on a variety of commercial and residential outdoor spaces. You will be travelling between sites carrying out general grounds maintenance duties and helping keep outdoor areas clean, tidy, and well maintained.

This role could suit someone with experience as a Landscape Operative, Gardener, Groundskeeper, Landscaping Assistant, Estate Maintenance Operative, Outdoor Maintenance Worker, Parks Operative, or someone from a horticulture or gardening background.

What You’ll Do

• Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers

• Hedge cutting and pruning

• Strimming and edging

• General grounds and landscape maintenance

• Working across multiple sites throughout SE London

• Carrying out basic maintenance checks on equipment

• Keeping sites clean, safe, and presentable

• Working as part of a mobile maintenance team

What We’re Looking For

• Full UK driving licence is essential

• Experience using strimmers, hedge trimmers, mowers, and similar equipment

• Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening, or outdoor maintenance experience

• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic

• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Team player with a positive attitude

Who Might Suit This Role

This role may suit candidates who have worked in grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening services, horticulture, estate services, facilities maintenance, park maintenance, or similar outdoor maintenance roles.

Candidates with experience as a Landscape Gardener, Grounds Person, Maintenance Operative, Greenkeeper, Labourer with gardening experience, or Site Maintenance Assistant are also encouraged to apply.
