Grounds Maintenance Operative

Location: Litchfield 
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Performance Bonus

The Role

You'll be working across a variety of sites for National House Builders, Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Management Companies, carrying out a range of grounds maintenance duties including:

• Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers
  
  
• Strimming and brush cutter work
  
  
• Hedge and tree pruning
  
  
• Pond and lake maintenance
  
  
• Weed control and spraying
  
  
• Re-barking and general landscape maintenance
  
  

There are also opportunities to develop your skills by working alongside our Landscaping, Customer Care, Play Equipment Installation and Ecological teams. If you have fencing experience, there may also be opportunities within our dedicated Fencing division.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 1 year's experience in Grounds Maintenance
  
  
• A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret site plans and landscape drawings
  
  
• Full clean UK driving licence is essential
  
  
• CSCS Card is desirable, although this can be provided if required
  
  
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team
  
  

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
  
  
• 7:00am – 4:00pm
  
  
• Overtime available
