Job Description:

Are you an experienced security professional with a passion for creating safer environments, influencing best practice and driving meaningful change across healthcare services? Join Elysium Healthcare as Group Security Lead and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a modern, proactive approach to security that protects our service users, colleagues and visitors across the organisation.

This strategic and influential role is responsible for leading a range of security initiatives that strengthen safety, security and risk management across Elysium's operations. Working closely with clinical, operational and support teams, you will champion the principles of relational, procedural, therapeutic and physical security, ensuring they are embedded throughout services and support positive outcomes for service users.

As the organisation's subject matter expert for security, you will provide specialist advice and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, helping services identify, assess and manage risks effectively. You will work closely with ward-based and frontline care teams, supporting the assessment and management of risks presented by service users while ensuring security approaches remain person-centred, proportionate and aligned with clinical best practice.

You will play a key role in developing and promoting security standards, policies and improvement programmes, helping services create safe environments that support recovery-focused care pathways. Through collaboration, coaching and professional leadership, you will help strengthen security awareness, capability and culture across the organisation.

Using data, incident themes and emerging best practice, you will identify opportunities for improvement and support services to implement effective solutions that enhance safety and security outcomes.
