Handyman / Bathroom Maintenance Technician

Cordomus Care – Small Works, Aftercare & Bathroom Maintenance

Cordomus is a growing, quality-focused bathroom specialist servicing West London, South West London, South East London and Surrey.

As part of our continued growth, we are launching and expanding Cordomus Care, our small works, aftercare and maintenance service. This side of the business will support our existing clients, new bathroom customers, landlords, estate agents and managed property portfolios.

We are looking for a reliable, practical and customer-focused Handyman / Bathroom Maintenance Technician to carry out small bathroom-related jobs and responsive maintenance visits.

This is a busy, mobile role and would suit someone who is organised, presentable, good with customers and able to complete multiple smaller jobs in a day to a high standard.

Typical works may include:

Removing and replacing silicone/mastic seals

Re-sealing baths, showers, trays, basins and worktops

Fitting shower screens and bath screens

Replacing toilet seats

Replacing taps, wastes, traps and accessories

Adjusting or replacing shower doors and seals

Fixing loose fittings, rails, cabinets and accessories

Minor plumbing repairs

Minor tiling repairs

Small making-good works

Basic carpentry or boxing-in repairs

General bathroom maintenance and aftercare visits

Investigating and reporting leaks, defects or potential remedial works

Key responsibilities:

Attend multiple scheduled jobs or reactive visits each day

Represent Cordomus professionally in customers’ homes

Collect and return keys from estate agents where required

Follow estate agent, landlord and resident access procedures

Protect the working area before starting

Leave properties clean, tidy and secure

Communicate clearly with customers, residents, agents and the Cordomus office

Send progress photos and completion photos for every visit

Report any issues, defects, leaks or further works required

Alert the office quickly where a job cannot be completed as planned

Identify opportunities for further works where appropriate

Work efficiently while maintaining a high-quality finish

You must have:

• Own van
• Own tools
• Good practical maintenance skills
• Experience working in occupied homes
• Excellent customer-facing skills
• A polite, courteous and helpful manner
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• Ability to follow instructions and report back clearly
• A clean and tidy approach to work
• Confidence dealing with estate agents, landlords, tenants and homeowners
