To join this thriving STEM Digital business as they are making their plans for the strategic roadmap delivery of infrastructure improvements

Role details

• Title: Head of Infrastructure, Operations & Security

• Location: Glasgow, and home working hybrid flexible
• Permanent role, salary £(phone number removed) plus bonus- 6 months FTC Initially
• Focus of the role : day to day line management of 6 infrastructure employees (security/cloud), project work, cybersecurity strategy delivery

As Head of IT Infrastructure & Security, you will lead the infrastructure and operations teams and ultimately be responsible for all the infrastructure, digital workplace and IT security services.

The role will ensure secure solutions design, management, maintenance and performance of core Infrastructure and end user devices.

You will be leading a team of 6 employees across infrastructure (focus on cyber security and cloud) as well as leading the strategy and delivery of key projects including de- commissioning of legacy worlds, improving cyber security safety etc.

This role is initially set as a 6-month fixed term contract (with permanent employee salary and benefits) with the plan to convert to a full time permanent role if everyone is happy at the end of that review.

Role requirements

• Microsoft azure background and certification
• Experience with Cloud and AI Security Engineer team members
• Team management leading skills
• Happiness to commute into Glasgow office

Preference is for someone who can start in the next 2 months
