Most logistics leadership roles focus on maintaining an existing operation.

This role is different.

Our client is investing heavily in the future of its logistics network and is seeking a commercially minded logistics leader to help design, develop and scale warehousing and transport operations for the next stage of growth.

Reporting directly to the Distribution Director, you'll play a key role in shaping strategy whilst maintaining oversight of day-to-day operational performance.

You'll have genuine influence over how the future network is structured, how transport operations evolve and how logistics supports continued business expansion.

The Opportunity

You'll be responsible for:

• Developing future warehouse and transport strategy
• Supporting the transition towards a predominantly in-house delivery model
• Leading transport compliance and Operator Licence requirements
• Managing fleet performance and utilisation
• Driving improvements in delivery performance and customer service
• Supporting expansion into new regions and markets
• Developing operational leadership teams
• Implementing scalable processes and systems

You'll likely come from a background such as:

• Head of Logistics
• Head of Transport
• Regional Logistics Manager
• Distribution Manager
• Senior Operations Manager
• Transport & Warehouse Manager

You'll bring:

• CPC Qualification
• Strong transport compliance expertise
• Experience managing warehousing and distribution operations
• Last-mile delivery experience
• Commercial awareness
• Leadership capability
• A passion for continuous improvement
