Description

• Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections across the site.
• Support the implementation and enforcement of health and safety policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and advice on health and safety matters to staff and management.
• Monitor and report on compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver health and safety training sessions for staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in risk assessments and ensure control measures are in place.

Profile

A successful Health and Safety Advisor should have:

• Experience in health and safety within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• A relevant health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams.
• Attention to detail and the ability to carry out thorough investigations.
• Organisational skills to manage documentation and compliance records.
