Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week

Northampton based

£55k - £58k pa

Our client, based in Northampton, are looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Facilities Manager to join their busy warehouse. You will work with staff to create a safe, compliant and efficient working environment.

The key reponsibilities:

• Lead the site's Health & Safety risk management strategy and continuous improvement plans
• Ensure compliance with all relevant UK legislation, HSE guidance, and company standards
• Develop, review, and maintain risk assessments, safe systems of work, and site procedures
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences, identifying corrective and preventive actions
• Lead internal audits and support external audits by customers, insurers and regulatory bodies
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of all site soft facilities and services
• Manage contracts relating to security, cleaning, waste management, pest control, utilities and grounds maintenance

The skills & qualities needed:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum requirement)
• Previous experience in a Health & Safety management role within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or a similar environment
• Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation and compliance requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to influence behavioural change and drive a positive safety culture
