Health & Safety Manager

£50,000 - £55,000 + benefits

Many Health & Safety Managers inherit existing systems. This role offers a rare chance to develop your own from scratch.

A forward-thinking food manufacturer is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to raise standards and shape the function. Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team, you will take full ownership of health and safety strategy and delivery.

While ensuring compliance with PUWER, COSHH, RIDDOR and DSEAR regulations, your wider goals will include:

• Building a genuine safety culture that employees actively support, not just tolerate
• Coaching managers to lead confidently on health and safety
• Encouraging near-miss reporting by fostering trust and openness
• Keeping the site audit-ready daily, making audits routine and stress-free

What you will bring:

• Significant Health & Safety experience in food manufacturing or FMCG
• NEBOSH Diploma or an equivalent qualification
• Chartered IOSH status is advantageous
