We’re looking for a caring and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support a gentleman in his 50s to live independently in his own home.

This is a rewarding role where you’ll provide compassionate, person-centred support while helping him maintain his independence, enjoy his daily routines and take part in the activities he loves.

He enjoys trips to the park, attending church for tea and coffee mornings, and is a passionate Manchester United supporter.

Your Role as a Healthcare Assistant 

✔ Support participation in community activities and social outings
✔ Administer medication safely and in accordance with the care plan
✔ Provide personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
✔ Support nutrition and hydration needs
✔ Promote independence, wellbeing and quality of life
✔ Remain vigilant to changing health and support needs and respond appropriately

What You'll Need

Minimum 12 months' care experience
Experience with medication administration
Confident with personal care and moving & handling
Strong communication skills
