Helpdesk Advisor – Boilers & AC

Salary: £27,000 rising to £28,000 after successful completion of a 6-month probation
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent | 40 hours per week

We are recruiting for a Helpdesk Advisor to join our client's Boilers & AC team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is technically minded, confident speaking with customers and keen to develop their knowledge within the heating and air conditioning industry.

Previous industry experience is not essential, as full product and industry knowledge can be developed within the role.

The Role

As a Helpdesk Advisor, you will:

• Support customers with technical queries relating to boilers and air conditioning.
• Provide clear and professional advice to customers.
• Work through technical problems and help identify suitable solutions.
• Handle customer queries confidently by telephone.
• Develop a strong understanding of our client's products and services.
• Escalate issues where further technical support is required.
• Maintain a high level of customer service throughout every interaction.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence speaking with customers over the telephone.
• A technically minded and logical approach to problem solving.
• The ability to understand and explain technical information.
• A willingness to learn and develop product knowledge.
• Good organisation skills and attention to detail.
• A calm and professional approach when dealing with problems.

Previous experience in customer service, technical support, helpdesk, engineering administration or a similar role would be beneficial, but isn't essential.

Salary & Benefits

• £27,000 starting salary
• Increasing to £28,000 after successful completion of 6-month probation
• 40 hours per week
• Some weekend working, typically 9am–3pm
• Weekend hours paid at time and a half
