Rehlko is a global leader in power and energy resilience, delivering critical power solutions that keep businesses, infrastructure, and essential services running when they need power most.

Formerly known as WB Power Services, we have grown into one of the UK's leading providers of generator sales, hire, service, and maintenance solutions. Combining the values of a family-run business with the backing of a global organisation, we offer our employees long-term career opportunities, industry-leading training, and the chance to work within a growing and dynamic sector.

Due to continued growth within our Hire Division, we are looking to recruit Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our team based at our Walkden depot in Manchester.

The Role

As a Class 1 HGV Driver - HIAB, you will be responsible for delivering, collecting, and positioning generators and associated equipment at customer sites throughout the UK. This is more than a driving role; when not out on deliveries, you will play an important part in supporting depot operations and ensuring our hire fleet is ready for deployment.

Working closely with our Hire, Transport, and Engineering teams, you will help deliver the exceptional service standards that Rehlko is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring loads are correctly secured and transported in accordance with transport legislation and company procedures.
• Completing daily vehicle and trailer safety inspections.
• Maintaining compliance with driver hours, tachograph regulations, and CPC requirements.
• Accurately completing delivery paperwork and electronic job records.
• Carrying out equipment transfers between depots, suppliers, and customer locations.
• Assisting with equipment preparation, inspections, housekeeping, and fleet readiness.
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times.

The Person

We're looking for reliable, safety-conscious individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a busy operational team.

Essential Requirements

• Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• HIAB qualification or previous HIAB operating experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong understanding of transport legislation and driver responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible approach and willingness to support wider depot operations.

Training & Development

At Rehlko, we recognise that good people are hard to find. If you have relevant experience but your HIAB qualification has expired, we may consider funding refresher training through our training repayment agreement scheme.

We are also committed to developing our drivers and can provide additional training for the right candidates, including:

• HIAB licence renewals and refresher training.
• Increasing HIAB lifting capacity/tonnage categories.
• Hook attachment and specialist lifting accreditations.
• ADR qualification training.
• Ongoing professional development and compliance training.

What We Can Offer You

• Competitive starting salary with regular overtime opportunities.
• Permanent 4 on / 4 off shift pattern.
• Choice of permanent days or permanent nights with no rotating shifts.
• 26.5 days annual leave including bank holidays (pro-rata in line with shift pattern).
• Private healthcare.
• Company pension scheme.
• Death in Service benefit.
