Job Description:

Driving Force Recruitment Ltd are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for an established food distribution operation in Warrington.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable drivers looking for ongoing work, guaranteed hours and a 4-day working week on a rolling 3-week rota.

The Role

• Class 1 store deliveries across the region
• Some Class 2 driving when required
• Deliveries to closed stores
• Unloading and moving wheeled cages
• Collecting empty cages, trays and equipment
• Manual handling involved — not trunking-only

• £18.78 per hour basic
• £28.17 per hour overtime after 48 hours
• 12 hours guaranteed pay per shift
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• 4 shifts per week

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous HGV driving experience
• Willing to drive Class 1 & Class 2 vehicles
• Comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable and flexible
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences
• No DD, DR, IN, CD or TT convictions

Store delivery/multidrop experience is advantageous.
