We’re recruiting HGV Class 2 Driver to drive an electric drainage vehicle for a leading drainage contractor working near Bermondsey, South East London. This is a hands-on, varied role offering consistent work, strong earning potential, and a clear route into a permanent position.

The Role

You’ll work as part of a two-person team operating specialist drainage vehicles. The role combines HGV driving with hands-on drainage support work across the highways network.

Key Duties

• Drive and operate Electric HGV Class 2 drainage vehicle (Vacuum Tanker)
• Work alongside an operative to support drainage clearance and maintenance
• Assist in operating specialist equipment to maintain surface water systems
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Approx. 50 hours per week
• Day shift: 6am - 4pm

Pay

• £14.11 – £15.88 per hour (PAYE)
• Equivalent to £36,600+ per year based on typical hours
• Bonus and Overtime
