HGV Technician- Nightshift

Beeston

£26.40 per hour

4 on 4 off | 18:00 – 06:00

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established operation in Beeston on a full time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team working on a mixed fleet of trucks, vans, and trailers in a fast-paced, professional workshop environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repairs, ensuring all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards of safety and compliance.

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a mixed fleet of HGVs, vans, and trailers
• Perform routine inspections and safety checks
• Complete MOT preparation and presentation
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
• Accurately complete all job cards and service documentation using online systems
• Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in HGV Maintenance/Mechanics
• Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience preferred
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• HGV Class 1 licence (desirable but not essential)
• Good communication skills
• Basic IT skills for workshop systems
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices
