Job Description:

HGV TECHNICIAN
Salary: Up to £24.00 per hour | OTE £65,000+
Location: Essex
Working Hours: 45 hours per week | Rotating Monday to Friday shifts
 
 
We are recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join a thriving and busy commercial vehicle workshop in Essex.
You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
 
The Role:
·Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs
·Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
·Use computer-aided diagnostic equipment
·Complete vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements
·Accurately complete job cards and service documentation
·Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
·Continue developing your technical knowledge through ongoing training
 
 
What We're Looking For:
·Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance or equivalent
·Proven experience as an HGV Technician
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
·Experience using computer-aided diagnostics
·Main dealer experience is advantageous
·A motivated and proactive approach to work
