Our client, a reputable company specialising in HGV refrigerated trailers, is seeking an experienced HGV Trailer Technician to join their busy accident repair and fleet services workshop in Hoddesdon. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work within a dynamic environment, delivering high-standard repairs on refrigerated trailers.

Duties of the HGV Trailer Technician:

• Conduct structural and accident repairs on refrigerated trailers
• Repair and replace rear frames and insulated panels
• Carry out general coachbuilding and bodywork to high standards
• Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently, maintaining quality standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress effectively
• Adhere to health and safety policies at all times

Requirements of the HGV Trailer Technician:

• Proven experience as a HGV or trailer technician, specialising in refrigerated trailer repair
• Strong knowledge of rear frame work and insulated panel replacement
• Ability to perform structural repairs and general coachbuilding to a high standard
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrable attention to detail and reliability
• Valid relevant qualifications in vehicle body repair or coachbuilding (desirable)
