Highways Supervisor
Location: Slough
Rate: Up to £350pd (Inside IR35)
Duration: Long-Term Contract   Carmichael UK are seeking an experienced Highways Supervisor to join a major highways and infrastructure project based in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a high-profile scheme, working with a leading contractor delivering critical highway improvements. Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day highways construction activities on site.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, plant, and materials.
• Carry out site inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Monitor quality and ensure works are completed to specification.
• Maintain site records including diaries, permits, inspections, and progress reports.
• Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers, and client representatives.
• Support the delivery of traffic management and public-facing highways works.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Highways Supervisor on major infrastructure or highways projects.
• Strong understanding of highways construction, utilities, drainage, roadworks, and traffic management.
• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• CSCS Card.
