You’ll provide fair, impartial guidance to managers across the business while working within a supportive, collaborative team that isn’t afraid to challenge each other (and regularly debates the next snack choice!).
No two days are the same in this fast-paced role. You’ll manage a variety of cases, support managers through processes, and help improve how we work to ensure consistent, ethical decision-making. If you’re ready to get stuck in and make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
- Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, 9:00am – 5:00pm, or 12:00pm – 8:00pm
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing:
- Manage and respond to queries in our Manager Advice ticket system and our Manager Advice Line.
- Be a first point of contact to guide stakeholders through the correct procedures, following company best practices.
- Complete admin tasks such as issuing meeting invite letters and note-taking.
- Providing support with drafting outcome letters from cases such as disciplinaries, grievances and appeals
- Provide guidance to line managers that is not only prompt but legally compliant.
- Manage your caseload and ER matters within remit from inception to completion.
- Prepare and coach managers on cases such as disciplinary, grievance, poor performance, probation, conducting investigations, preparing documentation, and running a variety of formal meetings.
- Escalate complex/serious issues to the Senior HR Advisor and HR manager when required.
- Proactively manage the co-ordination and administration of caseload including any related correspondence.
- Work with other members of the team to ensure cross-collaboration and peer review of advice when needed.
- Support, review and maintain our HR documentation, including manager guides, letter templates and policies where required
