Job Description:

Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation in the search for a HR Assistant to join their team on a 5 month fixed-term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR/People administrator looking for their next opportunity within a supportive and collaborative team.

Based in Whiteley, this is a hybrid role offering a salary of £28,000 – £30,000, depending on experience. The contract will run from October 2026 to February 2027 inclusive.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate new starter administration, including employment documentation, pre-employment checks and onboarding
• Manage leaver administration and ensure relevant systems and documentation are updated accurately
• Process employee changes including salary, hours, role, benefits and working arrangements
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within the HR system
• Support monthly payroll administration, collating changes and checking payroll information
• Act as a first point of contact for routine HR and payroll administration queries
• Assist with HR reports, data collation and employee documentation

About you:

• Previous experience within a busy administrative role
• HR, People or payroll administration experience would be advantageous but isn't essential
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
