Job Description:

Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a well-established manufacturer with the appointment of an Environment, Health and Safety Manager in Sheffield. This is a full-time, site-based role with a competitive salary package, good benefits, and long-term career prospects.

The Role
The Environment, Health and Safety Manager will take responsibility for leading workplace safety, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving a positive safety culture across the site. Key duties include:

• Developing, implementing and maintaining health, safety and environmental policies.
• Monitoring workplace conditions and identifying potential hazards.
• Carrying out accident investigations and recommending corrective actions.
• Delivering and coordinating training programmes to raise awareness and capability.
• Engaging with employees and managers to embed safe systems of work.
• Reporting on performance and supporting continuous improvement in EHS.

The Person
We are looking for an Environment, Health and Safety Manager with proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment. The successful candidate will have:

• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and standards.
• Demonstrable experience in accident investigation and risk management.
• The ability to design and deliver training programmes effectively.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels.
• Relevant qualifications in occupational health and safety or environmental management.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and to deadlines.
