Due to continuous growth and expansion, they are recruiting for a HV Engineer Trainer to join the Training team. If you have a strong background in high voltage engineering and a passion for developing others through the development and delivery of technical training, we would be delighted to hear from you!

***this role is based in West Cheshire with travel to customer sites approx. 2-3 days per month***

 About the role:

• Design and deliver Training courses for engineers
• Assess training needs and develop tailored curricula to address skill gaps
• Develop engaging training materials, including presentations, handouts and digital resources
• Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and relevance
• Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvements
• Provide constructive feedback and coaching to support professional development
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in engineering training

 What we’ll need from you:

• Electrical Engineering qualification and/or proven experience in the T&D industry
• Experience in instructional design and curriculum development
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Competence in delivering training both in-person and virtually
• Ability to engage and motivate learners across varying skill levels
• Coaching and mentoring abilities to support professional growth
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Solid understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Familiarity with staff development methods through training and mentoring
• Awareness of industry trends and best practices in engineering training
• Certification in training or instructional design would be a distinct advantage
• Experience in operational, protection or design engineering within the transmission & distribution (T&D) industry would also be considered an advantage
• Flexibility to travel to client sites to deliver training
