The Opportunity
 
We are currently looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join a major project team working on a large-scale commercial office development in Bristol.
With an impressive 7-year project programme and a salary of £70,000-£80,000, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional looking for long-term stability and the chance to play a key role in the delivery of a major project.
 
The Role
 
As HVAC Project Manager, you will take ownership of the HVAC package, managing the delivery of works from planning through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of HVAC works
• Taking ownership of the HVAC package and ensuring works are delivered to programme
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors, site teams and specialist contractors
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information
• Coordinating HVAC installation with other trades and project disciplines
• Managing labour, materials and plant requirements
• Monitoring progress against the project programme
• Managing procurement and ensuring materials are available when required
• Attending project and coordination meetings
• Liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Monitoring quality and ensuring installations meet project specifications
• Overseeing testing, commissioning and handover of HVAC systems
• Ensuring all works are delivered in line with Health & Safety requirements
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting

About You
The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience as an HVAC Project Manager or Mechanical Project Manager
• Strong experience delivering HVAC/mechanical services on commercial projects
• Experience working on office or commercial projects
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and installation
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Ability to manage programmes, deadlines and project deliverables
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of a project
