Job Title - INDIRECT SALES REPRESENTATIVE - FOOD

Location - Nationwide

Salary - £36,000 per annum plus company vehicle and commission after 3 months' probation

Role - Fully remote, full-time & permanent after 3 months' probation period

A leading continental foods supplier is currently recruiting for experienced Foodservice Indirect Sales Representatives to join its dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be the vital link between the company and a network of external partners, including resellers, distributors, and B2B clients. Your mission is to drive growth through effective relationship management, strategic negotiation, and proactive outreach. This position offers an exciting opportunity to expand our market presence by leveraging your excellent communication skills and sales expertise. You will play a key role in fostering long-term partnerships that contribute to our overall success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with external partners, including resellers and distributors, to maximize sales opportunities
• Identify new B2B sales prospects through targeted outreach and market research
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with partners to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing partner inquiries promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure partner needs are met and sales targets are achieved
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, negotiations, and partner communications using CRM tools
• Drive product awareness and promote new offerings through strategic engagement initiatives

Experience

• Proven experience in B2B sales or indirect sales roles, preferably within foodservice, food wholesale, catering or hospitality
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Valid driving license with the ability to travel regularly to meet with partners and clients - no more than 3 points or endorsements
• Knowledge of foodservice, food wholesale, catering or hospitality is highly desirable
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills to handle multiple accounts efficiently
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a proactive approach to business development
