Are you an experienced Infrastructure Systems Administrator looking to work on highly secure, mission-critical technology that makes a real-world impact?

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated professional to join a pioneering team working at the intersection of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development and maintenance of secure infrastructure supporting advanced naval platform management systems across both surface ships and submarines.

The Opportunity

As an Infrastructure Systems Administrator, you’ll play a key role within a specialist mission systems team, helping to ensure the reliability, performance and security of critical development environments and deployed systems.

You’ll be involved in designing and supporting secure infrastructure solutions while working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams in a collaborative and innovative environment.
You will be;

• Designing secure ICS infrastructure solutions for naval platforms
• Supporting the integration of IT and OT systems for mission-critical operations
• Managing and optimising Windows Server and Red Hat Linux environments
• Implementing and supporting virtualisation technologies including VMware and Hyper-V
• Maintaining IT assets and automating monitoring and reporting processes
• Supporting high availability, resilience and defence-grade security requirements
• Conducting vulnerability scanning and supporting cybersecurity compliance activities
• Ensuring systems align with industry and regulatory standards including ISO 27001 and IEC 62443

Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking someone with strong infrastructure and systems administration experience who enjoys working in technically complex and security-focused environments as well as

• Proven experience within IT infrastructure environments
• Experience integrating IT and OT systems
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server domains
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Linux administration
• Experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and vulnerability management
• Familiarity with secure system design and defence-related standards
• Experience with IT asset management and automated monitoring tools
