Job Description:

Pro-Resourcing Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of our client.

Our client is a leading UK manufacturer supplying high-quality products to a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their team.

The position is full time, permanent. 

Salary: Up to £40,000. 

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, rotating weekly between:
Week 1: 6 am – 6 pm
Week 2: 6 pm – 6 am

Duties

• Monitor production processes to ensure optimum running conditions
• Carry out tooling changeovers
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine and quality issues
• Deliver effective end-of-shift handovers
• Produce high-quality moulded products
• Support start-up and shutdown of extrusion lines
• Maintain product quality in line with specifications
• Perform tool trials and support continuous improvement
• Minimise scrap and maximise production efficiency
• Maintain high housekeeping standards (5S)
• Record and monitor quality checks throughout each shift
• Follow operating procedures and setting sheets

Experience

• Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Technician/Setter
• Experience within the plastics industry is desirable but not essential
• Good knowledge of plastics, including their uses and properties
