This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, building relationships, generating opportunities, and developing a long-term career in sales. You’ll play a key role in supporting retail growth by converting inbound enquiries into qualified sales opportunities and proactively engaging potential customers.
The Role As an Inside Sales Representative, you will act as a key point of contact for prospective customers and support the wider sales team through proactive lead generation and customer engagement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Selling a range of compact equipment solutions to new customers and small fleet operators
- Proactively cold calling prospective customers to generate new business opportunities
- Lead generation through outbound activity, digital enquiries, and marketing campaigns
- Building and developing a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
- Prospecting and creating demand within the local market
- Responding quickly and professionally to inbound enquiries from website leads and marketing activity
- Making outbound calls to follow up and progress opportunities
- Identifying customer requirements and arranging demonstrations or dealership appointments
- Booking qualified appointments for the external sales team
- Maintaining regular customer follow-up to maximise conversion opportunities
- Updating CRM systems accurately with customer interactions and next actions
- Supporting digital sales activity including online listings, email campaigns, and social engagement
- Representing the business professionally at all times
