All About the Role
 We are looking for an experienced Internal/External Sales Executive – General Steels to join our dedicated sales teams. This is a great opportunity to become part of an integral team who are operating in a high volume, fast paced environment. We are looking for the right individual to help drive the company forward and be part of this exciting time for the business, someone who would like to grow their sales career with us.

Key Tasks could include:

• Develop robust sales plans, within the constraints of operational capacity, that seek to secure profitable new market share and gross margin growth.
• Personally, lead negotiations with potential customers and through regular meetings, build relationships to maximise commercial opportunities with them, over the phone and in person.
• Prepare and follow up on quotes.
• Process sales enquiries / orders and see all administration through to completion, ensuring excellent levels of customer service.
• Be mobile in the field visiting customers face to face as often as necessary.
• Be an integral part of the sales team, working towards a one team mindset
• Achieve all KPI’s and help drive the business forward
• Be an ambassador for high customer service standards that seek to build customer retention levels.

All About You

You will have the passion, drive, and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way; Ideally you will already be Bristol based with an established customer base; however, we are flexible on location, hybrid working could be an option.

• Previous sales experience within a dynamic sales environment, have a proven record of building up accounts and delivering results in the UK market
• Ideally, you will already have experience of selling  steel or a related product area.
• A strong understanding of the sales process.
• Builds strong  and long-lasting relationships
• A proactive attitude & approach.
• Thrives off working to targets and KPI’s.
• Can drive & has a full UK driving licence.
