Inside Sales Executive - Freight Forwarding

Location: Manchester, Wythenshawe

Salary: £35,000 + 10% commission for new business and the lifetime of the account

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am - 17:00pm Office-based

The Opportunity

As an Inside Sales Executive, you'll play a key role in driving the company's future growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities across air, sea, road, and rail freight services.

You'll be responsible for developing relationships with prospective customers, understanding their supply chain requirements, and introducing tailored freight solutions that add real value to their operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Generating new business opportunities through telephone, email, LinkedIn, and other sales channels.
• Researching target customers and identifying key decision-makers.
• Building relationships with importers, exporters, and logistics decision-makers.
• Understanding customer requirements and presenting suitable freight solutions.
• Managing opportunities from initial contact through to quotation and conversion.
• Following up enquiries and quotations to maximise business wins.
