Salary: £35,000 Basic + Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

This company is looking for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Executive to join its team in Huddersfield.

Specialising in the supply of industrial door and loading bay parts to the trade, this company supports engineers, installers and service companies with the components they need to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in internal sales, technical parts or B2B customer service to join a specialist business where product knowledge, customer relationships and a proactive sales approach are key to success.

Experience within the industrial door industry would be a real advantage, but we're equally interested in candidates from other technical sales or parts backgrounds.

As an Internal Sales Executive, you'll be a key point of contact for trade customers, helping them source the right products while maximising sales opportunities and delivering an outstanding level of service.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Handling incoming sales enquiries via telephone and email from engineers, installers and trade customers.

• Proactively following up quotations, developing customer relationships and converting enquiries into orders.

• Identifying the correct industrial door and loading bay components, offering suitable alternatives where appropriate.

• Preparing accurate, competitive quotations and processing customer orders.

• Working closely with purchasing, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently.

• Providing customers with product availability, pricing and delivery information.

• Identifying opportunities to increase sales from existing customers and develop repeat business.

• Resolving customer queries and maintaining accurate records using internal CRM and order management systems.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, organised and confident speaking with customers, with the commercial awareness to spot opportunities and turn conversations into sales.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience in internal sales, B2B sales, trade counter sales or a technical parts environment.

• Excellent telephone communication skills and a confident, customer-focused approach.

• A proactive sales mentality with the ability to follow up opportunities and close orders.

• Strong attention to detail when dealing with product specifications, quotations and part numbers.

• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries in a busy environment.

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, CRM systems or order processing software.

Industry knowledge would be particularly desirable, especially experience with products such as:

• Industrial roller shutters and sectional overhead doors.

• High-speed and fast-action doors.

• Dock levellers and loading bay equipment.

• Door motors, control panels and automation components.

• Safety edges, seals, sensors and associated spare parts.

However, candidates with experience selling engineering components, electrical parts, mechanical spares or other technical products are also encouraged to apply.

• £35,000 basic salary plus bonus.

• Monday to Friday working hours - no weekends.
