Contract: Full‑Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday, flexible start between 7:00-10:00

About the Organisation

A long‑established and highly respected financial services institution in Liverpool City Centre is seeking an experienced Investment Operations Process Analyst to join its growing operations function. This is a senior‑level appointment, offering the opportunity to contribute to the development of operational excellence across the business.

Role Overview

The Senior Investment Operations Process Analyst will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening regulatory compliance, and supporting the delivery of high‑quality investment operations. The role requires a strong understanding of investment processes, regulatory reporting, and operational risk, alongside the ability to mentor and support junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Improvement - Lead and support initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance controls, and improve operational efficiency.

• Regulatory Reporting - Ensure accurate and timely reporting in line with FCA and industry requirements.

• Quality Assurance - Conduct reviews, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to maintain high operational standards.

• Operational Support - Provide subject‑matter expertise across investment operations, including reconciliations, settlements, and trade support.

• Mentoring & Development - Offer guidance, coaching, and support to junior colleagues to strengthen team capability and knowledge.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience within investment operations, middle office, or a similar financial services environment.

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and operational risk.

• Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives.

• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence.

• IOC (CISI Investment Operations Certificate) or equivalent.
