Job Description:

Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be working with a market-leading company based in Leeds who are looking to appoint a Junior HR Business Partner to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. 

This is a great opportunity to join an established HR team as a Junior HR Business Partner, within a business going through a significant period of growth and transformation. You’ll bring strong employee relations case management experience, alongside a practical and commercially minded approach to supporting managers. With the opportunity to broaden your experience beyond day-to-day casework, you’ll get involved in wider HR partnering, people projects and organisational change, including:

• Managing a varied caseload of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability and absence cases
• Providing practical advice and guidance to managers, supporting investigations and formal processes
• Coordinating absence management, Occupational Health referrals, return-to-work plans and workplace adjustments, using data to identify trends and recommend improvements
• Building strong relationships with operational managers, acting as a trusted HR contact and supporting the consistent application of policies and procedures
• Supporting wider HR partnering activity, including organisational change, employee engagement initiatives, people projects and cyclical HR processes
• Contributing to policy development, manager training and process improvements, using ER insights and colleague feedback to strengthen manager capability and the employee experience

What we’re looking for:

• Strong employee relations experience, with confidence managing a range of ER cases
• CIPD qualified or working towards a CIPD qualification
• Confident influencing and constructively challenging managers
• Flexibility to travel to sites as and when required
