Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting a Junior Quality Engineer on behalf of a leading manufacturing business in Keighley. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Technician ready to take the next step in their career and move into a more technical, engineering-focused quality role with outstanding development potential.

This role offers genuine progression into a fully-fledged Quality Engineer position, with exposure to supplier quality, internal manufacturing processes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Ensure supplied and internally manufactured products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and relevant standards
- Support compliance with ISO 9001 and contribute to the development and improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Assist with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements where applicable
- Act as a key support contact for quality-related issues across the business
- Support investigation and resolution of non-conformances with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- Assist in managing customer complaints with clear communication and timely resolution
- Monitor supplier quality performance and support improvement activities
- Support structured problem-solving activities including 8D, 5 Why analysis, and root cause investigations
- Contribute to identifying and implementing quality and process improvements
- Promote a Right First Time and continuous improvement culture
- Assist in collecting and analysing quality data, including PPM and trend reporting
- Provide support and guidance on quality tools, procedures, and best practices
- Develop your technical and professional capability within the Quality function

Essential Requirements
- Experience in a Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance role within manufacturing
- Understanding of manufacturing or assembly processes
- Experience using quality tools including:
- 8D Problem Solving
- 5 Why Analysis
- Pareto Analysis
- Exposure to ISO 9001 environments
- Experience with internal audits or supporting audit activity
- Involvement in continuous improvement or lean initiatives
- Minimum Six Sigma Green Belt certification
