Key Account Manager – Fire Systems

We design, install, and maintain critical systems including fire alarms, suppression systems, and security controls across sectors such as healthcare, education, housing, and commercial properties.
About the Role
The purpose of the Key Account Manager – Fire Systems role is to drive organic maintenance growth across the business and wider Group companies.
You will focus on developing long-term relationships within key client sectors and FM markets, identifying opportunities to grow recurring revenue through maintenance contracts, upselling, cross-selling, and new business development.
Role is based in London / Surrey area.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive sales growth and recurring revenue within targeted sectors
- Develop strategic upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the wider Group
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
- Manage the sales pipeline through SimPRO, including retention and call cycle activity
- Prepare and deliver impactful presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations
- Ensure all compliance standards and company procedures are followed
- Maintain awareness of market trends, competitors, and sector activity
- Attend client and FM review meetings alongside the Sales & Service Manager
- Identify opportunities outside existing account scopes and support wider sales growth
What We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of the Fire & Security industry and associated services
- FIA Level 1 / 2
- Compliant with BS 8539 series
- Commercially aware, customer-focused, and results-driven
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing key accounts and developing long-term client relationships
- Ability to identify growth opportunities and manage sales pipelines effectively
- Organised, proactive, and confident working independently and within a team
- Experience using CRM systems such as SimPRO advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence
