SEND KS4 English Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: Sheffield
Start Date: September 2026
Daily Rate: £190–£240 (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

This specialist setting supports children and young people aged 5–16 with a primary need of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). Pupils typically work at or around age-related expectations but benefit from a structured, consistent, and compassionate approach to learning.

With a strong focus on personalised learning, the curriculum is designed to develop not only academic success but also resilience, independence, and positive relationships. All pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and staff work closely with a range of professionals to provide holistic support.

The Role
As a KS4 English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons tailored to meet individual needs
• Support pupils in achieving GCSE outcomes while nurturing confidence and emotional wellbeing
• Work with small class sizes, allowing for meaningful relationships and impactful teaching
• Collaborate closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external professionals
• Contribute to a structured and supportive learning environment
