KS1 Teaching Assistant Required

Role Details

• Position: KS1 Teaching Assistant
• Location: Wigan
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract: Ongoing
• Hours: Full-time (5 days per week) – part-time applications will also be considered

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (NCFE, CACHE, NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3)
• Have recent experience working within KS1 in the last 2 years
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Have experience within Early Years, KS1 or KS2 settings
• Be enthusiastic, reliable and committed to supporting children’s learning
• Hold a current DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
• Be eligible to work in the UK
