KS2 Class Teacher – SEN School-August Start
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join a nurturing independent SEN school in Hackney. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

The Role The successful candidate will: - Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for KS2 pupils with SEND
- Create a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral teams
- Develop personalised learning approaches to meet individual EHCP targets
- Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and external professionals
- Promote pupils’ confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate Applicants should have: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
- Experience teaching within KS2
- Experience working with pupils with SEND, particularly ASC and SEMH
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
- A patient, flexible, and resilient approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
